Review: MEIGO Magnetic Blocks

This is by far my favorite kids toy! I absolutely love the magnetic blocks and the Meigo company makes great products! Every toy we have had from this company has withheld the test of time and the destructive hands of 3 little boys. These have been played roughly with for the past couple weeks and they are still as new as they were the day we got them.

The kids love them and they are so fun to snap together to build whatever they could possibly imagine. This set comes with extra little fun things such as a plastic window, balcony and a door, making this an even better building set!

It comes with 51 pieces of magnetic fun! Honestly, I love playing with them just as much as my kiddos do. They are easy to put together so little hands can play with them and are also great for the older kids to build a rocket ship or house. ๐Ÿ™‚

It is definitely engineering fun at its finest. The colors are bright and fun. Upon first trying them out I was a little worried about them breaking apart exposing the small magnets but after much playtime this is no longer a concern. The magnets are housed safely in a double layer of heavy duty plastic. They come packaged in a nice bright red drawstring bag that makes them easy to find in a playroom full of toys and also to throw easily in a to go bag. We travel to a lot of sports games and practices that my youngest gets super bored. We always have our bag of magnetic blocks with us!ย  I highly recommend this product and will buy them over and over again.

Review: MEIGO- Dominoes Shape Puzzle Matching Game Building Blocks

My kids are big fans of any kind of building blocks. It is something that keeps them busy and they play quietly together with the blocks. They have tried out other toys from the MEIGO company and we have enjoyed all of them.ย  It is a company that takes pride in their products and they never cease to amaze me on the types of toys they offer. These blocks are super fun and are can be played with in several different ways!

This domino set is a well made, heavy duty set that is great for any age. My 5,7 and 9 year old kiddos all enjoyed this set and it kept them busy for at least an hour. They love to play with them and it is something they can do together without fighting over it lol! You can put them up as regular dominoes, you can stack them to build a house (or other structure), can be used as a matching game or you can put it together as a puzzle. It is nice to have one toy that can be used in so many different ways and it comes in a great drawstring bag to keep them all together.ย It is something that is easy to take along with you, but something super fun for the kids to enjoy.

We are going on a road trip in a couple weeks and I will definitely be taking these along with us! The pictures on them are adorable and the kids had fun playing the matching game. I work with my youngest on preschool things at home and these are great for practicing shapes, colors and animals! ๐Ÿ™‚ A great learning game that is fun! Make sure to check out this great set and company, you won’t regret it!

Review: The Coffee Cookie

Wondering what a coffee cookie is? The name is deceiving and it’s not actually a cookie lol! Do you have issues keeping your coffee warm? I do!! I do!!! Being a busy mom I tend to forget my coffee and then it has to be rewarmed over and over again. I also forget it’s in the microwave lol and coffee can only be rewarmed so many times before it tastes burnt!

See that little blue thing in the picture above. This is the rescuer you need in your life if you are anything like me! It is a handy dandy little thing that goes under your coffee mug or even your to-go coffee cup to keep it warm. It starts to warm up with a flip of a button and can easily be recharged by using a USB charging cord like you have for a cellphone. It reminds me of a tiny version of a candle warmer! This thing is awesome and really does work! It can stay on for quite awhile and will heat your cup of coffee while it is sitting beside you!

It comes in a tiny little drawstring bag with an adorable little coffee bean heart on it! I have never heard of such a contraption until I seen it in an email advertisement. I was shocked and awed over the simplicity of such a fantabulous product! I highly recommend it and will be purchasing one for my family members for a stocking stuffer this year! Would be a great gift for any coffee lover!

Review: LOVEYOUSTUDIO Bath Bombs

Bath bombs… They are the greatest freaking thing ever! ๐Ÿ™‚ Am I right, or am I right? They are smelly good, they are relaxing and honestly they make me feel like a kid surrounded with colorful bubbly water. Seriously, the best invention and they are super fun. There are numerous different types of bath bombs so whatever you could possibly want is out there somewhere.

The LOVEYOUSTUDIO has some great things you have to check out! They have bath bombs too! Anytime I get to try out bath bombs I get super excited. This was no exception! LOVEYOUSTUDIO always sends their products in a way that make them appealing upon opening.

These bath bombs come in an adorably decorated box to keep them safe from breakage and for great storage. Each bomb is wrapped in brown paper with a very colorful sticker to label what kind of experience you are in for when using it. The bombs are then gently surrounded by a pillow of brown strips of paper. Overall, beautiful presentation! ๐Ÿ™‚

This set comes with 6 different bombs and they all smell amazing. I tried out a couple of different bombs and while they smell fantastic and make my skin super soft I was a tad disappointed that they were white. I know this sounds silly but when I put a bath bomb in a steaming tub I want to see some color, I want to feel like it is actually doing something. When I dropped these into my white tub I could not see it fizzling, which let’s get real here, that’s what we buy bath bombs for. It didn’t even occur to me that they wouldn’t be colored when I unwrapped them. They are white bombs, I just assumed that some color would be patiently waiting to be released upon contact with the warm water. You know fizzle magic? Yea, that’s what I was expecting.ย  Unfortunately, that did not happen lol.

I do however enjoy these bombs. They are well made and fizzle for quite a while, it is just really hard to see it. The smells are on point and you can really tell some love and care went into making this set. The set is well priced compared to some of the other bath bombs I have seen out there, especially with 6 bombs included in this beautiful box. I would highly recommend these solely on how well they are made and how great they smell. They are great quality for a great price. If you don’t mind them being colorless, then these are perfect for you. Despite my whining about the color, I really do love them and would buy them again! ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyone else feel like they just can’t get through the week without something going wrong?!? Yea, that’s been my life this past month. I have kind of flaked on blogging and reviewing because my personal life is C.R.A.Z.Y! Lol! I am a parent of 3 boys as you may know and this is the time of year that every germ possible is passed around. In the past 3 weeks I have had strep and a respiratory virus with a cough that will not end. My kids have had strep, the respiratory virus, and one of them had croup and pneumonia.

I bet you are thinking right now, WOW she’s a terrible mom! Does she not ever give her kids vitamins? Well I do give them vitamins, we use Thieves essential oils daily and they still come home germy and I will tell you why. Public schools are a germ factory. Kids sneeze on other kids, cough without covering there mouths and because of the society we live in these days kids are sent back to school when they are not fully recovered from their sickness. It’s a flawed system and no one is to blame. We all have just been hit hard this year and it’s barely begun. Last year we were lucky enough not to be sick at all (yes, I just knocked on wood).

Besides the sicknesses, we’ve had birthdays, field trips, yoga classes, a winter storm and non stop fights with my husband because he works an hour away and often stays there due to gas prices. I know this sounds like a waahhhhh wahhhh me post but it really isn’t. I am here to say that it’s okay to have an off day, week, month or even a year…. (anyone else here the Friends’ theme song just now lol!!!)

So I just wanted to say to those that actually read my blog and are patiently waiting a review… it is coming! ๐Ÿ™‚ I am hopefully back into a better mindset and physically life is about to slow down, even if it is just for this next week. Yay for Thanksgiving Break!!

Namaste my peeps and THANKS SO MUCH for taking the time to read my post! ๐Ÿ™‚ If you have any germ killing hacks please help a mother out!

Review: TANGCISON, 2 Pack Sleep Mask

I usually end up sleeping with a pillow tucked slightly over my eyes while I sleep. I have never been a fan of eye masks because they always feel restricting and I can’t get over the claustrophobia. I always like to try out new thing so Iย  was excited to try these out and see if they exceeded my expectations. They did not lol! They are just the same as others I have tried. They do however have a larger velcro strap that allows for the mask to be easily adjusted. Which is a nice perk. They also come in a nice black carrying bag to keep them clean and tucked away safely for the next use.

There is 2 masks in the packs and they are very different. The nose pieces for each mask fit very differently. The black one is more comfortable than the pink one. The pink one is very constricting on the nose and felt like it was pushing down on the bridge of my nose. The black one was definitely more comfortable than the pink one.ย  My husband was nice enough to help to model and test the product! ๐Ÿ™‚

They are made of a very comfortable fabric that is easily melded to your face. While I wasn’t a big fan of these but my husband did seem to like them. They fit his face better and was more comfortable for him. He recommends them! Check them out on Amazon!

Review: Atomic Matcha Tea

Is Matcha tea for you? Do you follow the craze that is sweeping the nation? I’m not lol, but I was interested to see what it tastes like. Will it be sweet, tart, does it actually taste like tea? Yea, I had absolutely no idea. I was a match virgin. I was excited to try it but obviously had my reservations. IT IS SO GREEN! It smells so weird too. I honestly couldn’t get over the smell of it.

I tried my first cup of the tea per the directions on the back of the package I was reviewing. IT SMELLS AWFUL. I don’t drink beer because I can’t get over the smell of it. This was pretty much the same situation. The smell was something I just couldn’t overcome. I disliked it before the hot green liquid could ever grace my tastebuds. I finally choked some down and I was soooooooooooo not a fan. I do not like it. It does not taste good to me and is not appetizing at all. I don’t know if it’s an acquired taste or what, I just can’t hack it.

If you would like to check out the product, you can find it on Amazon

Review: Freeskin Ombre Yoga Pants

In case you don’t know I am a yoga instructor and I am obsessed with yoga pants. These ombre pants made me giddy when I laid my eyes upon them. I was so excited to be able to review them. I mean, who can resist these beauties?!?

I immediately tried them on when they arrived and I was a tad disappointed. They were very stretchy which is normally a good thing but I felt like I was trying to put on a pair of pantyhose. They were scrunchy and had so much fabric, when I finally got them on I still wasn’t so sure so I took them off and washed them. Trying them again once they got out of the wash, I was still not happy with them.

To me they were more leggings than they are yoga pants. Those are two completely different clothing items and need to be sold with clarity which you will be getting. I do not feel comfortable wearing these to any of my yoga classes. When I bent over they were see through and the crotch part of it is just weird feeling.

They don’t fit like I expected for being advertised as yoga pants. I will definitely be keeping them for some awesome looking leggings to wear under something else or with a long shirt lol!

I am very particular about the yoga pants I wear and these do not pass the test. I do however recommend them as leggings. They are soft and a beautiful color. If you want to check them out they are on AMAZON.

When life gets you down, what do you do?

I have had my fair share of ups and downs, but the good times will always out weigh the bad and I’m thankful for that. Sometimes life just seems to knock you down and things can happen that are out of your control. I by no means have a perfect life. But I have so many people that make my life worthwhile, to me that is a perfect life. Surround yourself with those that find your worth. The ones that see the goodness in you.

Some things have happened in my life recently that make me question every aspect of my life. My trust was betrayed and I was hurt by someone who is very important to me. It’s those times when someone you thought would never hurt you, does. I know people are not perfect creatures and we all make mistakes, but when you trust someone with the love in your heart and they betray that….. It’s like a kick in the gut. It makes you question your worth and your happiness. It makes me wonder if I’m living the life that I should be. Can I do more in my life, was I at fault, where is my life going. You know you think about everything you have ever said or did and question absolutely everything. I hate it lol my mind goes berserk and I can’t sleep!

To get me through a betrayal of trust I called on the three most important people and my life. My mom, my sister and my mother-in-law. They all gave me advice that I cherish and helped me to put things into perspective.

My mother-in-law told me when things get tough you have to look in the mirror and tell yourself, “you are good enough!”. You are the only one in your life that will make you happy. No matter who it is that might have hurt you, betrayed you or just made you not feel good enough. You. Are. Good. Enough. I have prayed a lot. I have thought about forgiveness.. Is it worth having this person in my life if they so callously betray me when the times are tough? I have never felt so confused in my life.

If you have ever been through something like this remember you are good enough and people love you! โค๏ธ Someone is always there for you. Find someone to talk to. Work it out and do what’s best for you. Sometimes that toxicity is easier to let go of than it is to try fix the situation. If you need someone to talk to, shoot me a message! I’m there for you, even if I don’t know you!

So like any sane adult these days I took to Google and found some funny memes and quotes that just fit the situation to make me feel better. Here they are ๐Ÿ‘‡
