“Where Two Hearts Meet” ~Liz Johnson~ Review

In her kitchen at the Red Door Inn, executive chef Caden Holt is calm, collected, and competent. But when her boss asks her to show off their beautiful island to impress a visiting travel writer and save the inn, Caden is forced to face a world much bigger than her kitchen–and a man who makes her wish she was beautiful.

Journalist Adam Jacobs is on a forced sabbatical on Prince Edward Island. He’s also on assignment to uncover a story. Instead he’s falling in love with the island’s red shores and Caden’s sweets.

When Caden discovers Adam isn’t who she thought he was, she realizes that the article he’s writing could do more than ruin the inn’s chances for survival–it might also break her heart.

Readers will discover hope for the hurting, joy for the broken, and romance for the lonely at the enchanting Red Door Inn.

Great book! This book had me from the first page. There is a lot going on but it was easy to follow. It starts out in a tiny little town at a tiny little cottage with a great story. The Red Door Inn is one made of dreams, tiny little features and a gourmet chef in the kitchen. Caden is a fabulous non-professionally trained chef, who grew up manning the kitchen of her father’s bakery. Her wonderful aunt helped her to blossom into the great chef that she is. Then comes a man she never thought could love her….and romance ensues.

This is lovey-dovey romantic book, that is meant to make you smile! Adam Jacobs was looking for something he didn’t realize he was missing until he met Caden. It is an adorable love story of people from very different worlds, finding each other in the most unexpected of ways. This is one of the best love stories I have ever read. There is humor, love, faith, friendship and so much more. Not only is there a romance with each other, they come to find God and his love. It is an inspiring story that I will share with others. Loved it!!!

I highly recommend this book. It was given to me in exchange for a fair and honest review!

Wow! If you love mystery’s then this is the book for you!! One of my favorite genres, and this did not disappoint! It has a little bit of everything, murder….suspense….sexy lead characters…and humor to boot. It’s fascinating and wonderful and definitely a page turner!!! Flows nicely and I look forward to checking out other books from this author!! Loved it!

Not only was it an amazing book, it has won awards! It is a Kindle Scout Winner!! Who doesn’t love a little mystery with cute men and a feline sidekick?? Macey is a young woman starting at a new job… Who knew by the end of the day she’d have a knife to her throat, enemies, and become a suspect in a murder. To top it all of she is on a hit list for aggravating an already angry customer at her first day on the job.

The first day on a job is always tough, but can you imagine your life going up in flames on that same day?? I can’t! This book is amazing and fast paced, and there is so much going on that it makes you want to read the whole book in one setting. Unfortunately, with 3 kids that is hard for me to do! But it is totally worth the read!!

It has relatable characters and you just have to love Macey the main character, poor girl! Her life is falling apart around her and all on the first day of her new job,I felt so sorry for her! Luckily, she has an awesome feline sidekick Wikket and two drool worthy men now in her life. Brett and Vince become two men that she can count on while she is on this crazy rollercoaster, even though they both drive her crazy!

Overall, an amazing book! You should definitely check it out! 🙂

I really have 4 children.. One is just covered in fur..

I was in the process of putting my babies to bed and I say, “boys come on, get up here and lay down.” Our fur-baby a beautiful boxer girl is also in the room at the same time.. As soon as I say get up here and lay down she tries to get up on the bed  (she knows she is not allowed on the kids’ bed, she pushes them out lol). With one foot perched on the bed I say, “I’m not talking to you Kloey”… She grumbles at me but stays one foot perched on the bed… I say,” go lay down in your own bed”. She barks at me, grumbles a little and turns around and walks out… Wagging her tail the whole way… She knows momma loves her.. But goodness does she have sass!

Anyone else have fur-babies that act like they are human? She constantly looks at me with those gorgeous brown eyes with an understanding that you would think comes from a human. She grumbles at me when she wants something and even when she doesn’t get her way.

She is my baby, she is one of us and will always be that way. She is getting up there in years and I worry about her often (boxers tend to have a host life-expectancy). But I spoil her rotten every chance I get because she is truly one of the best dogs I’ve ever had. She’s amazing with the kids and treats them like they are her own babies. She has put up with a lot of baby lovin over the past 7 years, even being used as a step stool by my youngest to reach a snack all the while snoozing away.

Her pretty bling!
