Because a serious case of human trafficking with connections to her missing cousin just landed in her lap.

When US Marshall Blake MacCallum’s daughter goes missing, he’s ordered to kill the judge he’s protecting and tell no one about his daughter’s disappearance or she will die. Blake races against the clock to rescue his daughter while Chloe and Hank are asked to be a part of the task force assembled to bring down the traffickers. Chloe finds herself attracted to the silent, suffering man, but thanks to her previous bad judgment, she wonders if she can trust him. And can Blake trust himself around this firecracker of a woman?

Review:

I am a huge fan of Lynette Eason! Her Elite Guardians Series will forever be my favorite series. This series is a close second! It is fantastic and I highly recommend it! It is full of intriguing characters that are real, they are people you can relate to. This is the second book in this series and in both books we get a glimpse into the St. John family. A tight knit family that are all in employed in some form of police work. Each of the Blue Justice books are about one of these awesome siblings! I would love to have the rowdy crazy family that these books are about. They are so full of life, love and the need to protect others.

I have only read the first two books of this series and they are hard core, take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions! I was so pleased with this book. I absolutely loved how real she gets in this book. It’s about things that could actually happen. This book scared me just a little, being a parent, sex trafficking is a scary thing. Especially when you see about it all over Facebook and the news. This is a heart wrenching story of young women who are taken, sold and abused and the people who do everything they can to get them back. Among the tragedy and the hard work, maybe a little romance is blooming. You’ll have to read it to see who the two lovebirds are! 🙂

The ending is one that you won’t want to miss. So many things happen in this book and I was so shocked to see who the real bad guy was. It will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end! Go check it out, you will be so glad that you did! She is an amazing author and you will no doubt love them all! 🙂

I highly recommend this book! 🙂
