Review:

Loved this book! This is the second one I have read from this author and this series. It definitely does not disappoint! She is an amazing and very talented author that will take you on a wild ride! There is drama, suspense, love and humor!

I read the 2nd book in this series, this is the third, and loved them both. They are easy to read and do interconnect but it is not a necessity for you to read the other books in the series. They are stand alone books and offer up any kind of information that you would need if you perhaps didn’t read the other books.

Maddy Mckay works for the Elite Guardians company, a group of kick-ass women that are bodyguards. She is a strong lead female and she is someone you can’t help but love! Her relationship with Quinn, an FBI agent, has been long and bumpy but they still have each others backs when they get kidnapped by a psychopathic killer! He’s on the hunt for Maddy and Quinn and will stop at nothing to put them in the ground.

The author goes to great lengths to make you feel like you are right there with the characters, you feel their fear and can’t help but grip the edge of your seat in suspense. It is a wild and crazy ride with several twists and turns! Lynette Eason is by far one of my favorite authors and I’ve only read 2 of her books! She is just that good! I flew through this book within a couple days, because I just could not put it down! I’m a crime show junkie and an avid reader of mystery and suspense novels. This one is definitely all of that and more!! I will definitely be recommending it to my other book junkie friends!!! 🙂 🙂
